Apple Butter – Version 10 ________________________________________ Servings – 4 Half Pints Prep Time - 25 Minutes Cook Time – Low 10 to 12 Hours ________________________________________ Ingredients: • Approx. 3 pounds apples • 3 cups sugar • 2 teaspoons cinnamon • 1 teaspoon nutmeg • 1/2 teaspoon allspice • 1/2 teaspoon cloves • Dash of salt • 3/4 cup water
Instructions: 1. Fill slow cooker 3/4 full of peeled, cored sliced apples. 2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until evenly mixed. 3. Cover and cook on low overnight 10 to 12 hours. 4. If butter has too much liquid, remove lid and cook on high until of desired consistency.
