Aztec Black Beans ________________________________________ Servings – 6 to 8 Prep Time – 10 to 12 Hours 10 Minutes Cook Time – Low 8 to 10 Hours ________________________________________ Ingredients: • 1 pound dried black beans (or turtle beans) • 1 (16 ounce) jar of salsa (your favorite kind)
Instructions: 1. Rinse black beans, removing any stones or foreign objects. 2. Cover with water, soak all night. 3. Drain beans and place in slow cooker with salsa. 4. Add enough water to just cover beans. 5. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
